2.职业摔角手，之后成为National Wrestling Federation推广人的Johnny Powers于12月30日去世，享年79岁。

Powers于1960年代进行职业摔角首秀，在Detroit地区工作。他还参加了World Wide Wrestling Federation，挑战
Bruno Sammartino的the WWWF Championship。他还和Lou Thesz进行过一些腰带战，争夺the NWA World
Heavyweight Championship。

作为推广人，Powers和Pedro Martinez接管了当时的Buffalo地区，并创立了National Wrestling Federation。联盟
