Chyna passes away
WWE is saddened to learn of reports that Joanie Laurer, best known for competing in WWE as Chyna, has passed away.
A physically striking and wildly talented performer, Chyna was a true sports-entertainment pioneer. Not only did the Superstar dubbed “The Ninth Wonder of the World” help found the groundbreaking faction D-Generation X, but she also holds the distinction of being the first and only female to win the Intercontinental Championship.
WWE extends its condolences to Laurer’s family, friends and fans.

Death
On April 20, 2016, Laurer was found dead at her home in Redondo Beach, California. She had been taking medication for anxiety and sleep deprivation. An official statement was posted to her Twitter account, saying "It is with deep sadness to inform you today that we lost a true icon, a real life superhero ... She will live forever in the memories of her millions of fans and all of us that loved her.

CHYNA是当地时间20日被发现死于加州 Redondo Beach的家中，她长期以来一直服用对抗焦虑和失眠的药物。她个人twitter账户上发布公告：“今天我们失去了行业的标杆，生活中超级英雄。。。她会永远会在所有粉丝的记忆中。”

可能是具体死因还未查明，个人观点：估计和药物、心脏病突发有关。
