Douglas Clayton Durdle (于1972年9月1日出生于伯克郡雷丁 (Reading, Berkshire), 他以擂台名字 Doug Williams 为观众们所熟悉, 他现正于英国及英国国外独立摔角团体工作, 包括 Frontier Wrestling Alliance (FWA), Ring of Honor (ROH) 及日摔团体 NOAH
Williams 在擂台上以英式固定技风格为人所熟悉, 更被誉为 "The Human Torture Device" (人类拷问机器), 他常常以膝击作为反击对手的武器
在90年代他于 NWA UK-Hammerlock 接受摔角训练及工作
他其后参战 FWA King of England 锦标赛, 在决赛中他成功击败 Eddie Guerrero, 稍后时间他更获得这团体中最顶尖的腰带
在2002年及2003年初, Williams 开始进行美国之旅, 他首先在 Ring of Honor 现身, 在 ROH 作赛期间, 他成为 ROH's #1 Contender Trophy 及 FWA 英国重量级冠军, 这两项头衔在未易手之前都是由 Christopher Daniels 持有, 之后成为 ROH Pure Wrestling Champion. 2004年开始进行日本之旅, 他在日摔团体 NOAH 中与 Scorpio 合作成为 GHC 双打冠军
Williams 不断在国外及英国当地团体夺得腰带, 更在2005年5月6日于法国勒泰尔的 International Catch Wrestling Alliance 世界重量级腰带锦标赛决赛中打败 "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson 成为首届冠军
当 WWE 于2006年11月举行英国之旅时, Williams 打了一场 dark match, 结果被 Carlito 所败
有传指 Williams 会参战 TNA World X Cup, 而于2008年6月12日消息得到证实, 虽然现时还不清楚 Williams 与 TNA 签署的是短期合约 (只是参与 TNA World X Cup), 还是长期合约, 但在英国之旅时他与 Jay Lethal 及 AJ Styles 就打了三场三重威胁赛, 结果都是 AJ Styles 获胜, 而另一场则是男女子混合赛, 结果他与拍档 Gail Kim 被对手 Awesome Kong & James Storm 所击败
